The Mid-South Emergency Planning Coalition is a group of hospitals and non-hospital facilities across the Mid-South dedicated creating and implementing effective frameworks to respond to local emergency incident and public health issues that affect the residents of Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, and Lauderdale counties in Tennessee; Crittenden County, Arkansas; and DeSoto County, Mississippi. By joining the Coalition, your organization would be provided opportunities to improve their emergency preparedness capabilities through access to trainings, exercises, shared services, examples of plans, policies, and procedures, etc. Please complete the form below and set aside the third Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. for regularly scheduled meetings. You will receive more information once your organizational information has been received.

Also, if your facility falls under the new CMS Preparedness rule requirements, all Active Members of the Coalition are able to participate in our annual full scale community exercise. To be consider an Active Member, someone from your facility will need to attend at least 4 of the first 6 monthly meetings prior to the exercise.
